Planning editing style

The reason why editing is so important is because it can help with the audiences understanding of the music video by adding more of a understanding to the story behind a music video, this can be achieved by using the use of strait cuts, this is where the camera changes from one scene to another and is commonly used in music videos because it is an easy and efficient way of changing the shot. if you need to quickly change from one scene to another


In our music video we have chosen 4 editing styles that we feel will be most effective for our music video. these editing styles are reverse imaging, colour filters, slow motion and strait cuts. the reason why we have chosen these four editing styles because they all have a major purpose in how they will create the effect we are looking for in.
